BLUE RHINO’S NEW MOBILE APP PREDICTS WHEN YOU
NEED MORE PROPANE FOR GRILLING
Never Run Out of Gas Again
Winston-Salem, NC (June 28, 2016) – Everybody hates running out of gas while grilling. And now, there’s an app for that. The Rhino Gauge app from Blue Rhino (www.BlueRhino.com
), America’s leading brand of propane tank exchange, lets you know when your tank is getting low.
The free app is available for download now on the App store or Google Play – just in time for the largest grilling holiday of the year, the Fourth of July. Just answer a few questions about how you grill and the last time you bought propane and the app will predict when you should need gas again.* For an even better estimate, users can also enter information for each and every cookout. A timer built into the app helps keep track of grilling time.
To keep an eye on the estimated tank fill level, just click “Propane Check.” When the gauge shows “low,” it’s time to get more propane. The app also shows Blue Rhino locations near your home so you can pick up a fresh tank of propane quickly and easily…and get back to grilling with family and friends.
Blue Rhino has also teamed up with Operation BBQ Relief (www.OperationBBQRelief.org
) to create special recipes for July Fourth and all year round. Blue Rhino is a major sponsor of Operation BBQ Relief, a nonprofit disaster response team consisting of volunteers from competition barbecue teams who serve hot grilled meals to displaced families and emergency personnel in areas impacted by natural disasters.
