Pilsner Beer Shrimp

Makes: 20 servings
Prep Time: 2 hours - Overnight
Cook Time: 15-20 minutes




Venison Poppers


1 pound venison steaks, cubed
1/2 teaspoon Greek seasoning, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon steak seasoning, or to taste
1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian salad dressing
1/2 cup jalapeno pepper slices
10 slices bacon, cut in half
toothpicks, soaked in water



  1. Season the venison meat with Greek seasoning and steak seasoning.
  2. Place in a bowl
  3. Pour in enough Italian dressing to cover.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to marinate, but preferably overnight.
  5. Preheat the grill for medium heat.
  6. Drain the marinade from the meat, and discard the marinade.
  7. Place a slice of jalapeno on top of a piece of meat
  8. Wrap with a slice of bacon.
  9. Secure with a soaked toothpick.
  10. Repeat with remaining meat.
  11. Grill the venison poppers for 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally to brown the bacon.
  12. Remove and place on a plate
  13. Serve.
