What do you recommend people do with propane tanks during a storm?
Rain or shine, propane tanks should always be stored upright (never on their side) in a well-ventilated area. In the event of a severe storm, consider securing your tanks against high winds. Use a bungee cord or rope to anchor the tank, but make sure it remains upright, in a well-ventilated area, and away from any potential sources of ignition.
