When you arrive at the store, take your empty propane tank to the outdoor propane display. For safety, never bring tanks inside the store. Then, head inside to complete your purchase at the cashier. A store associate will walk you back to the display and provide a fresh, ready-to-use Blue Rhino propane tank. From there, you’re all set and can get back to whatever you’re fueling, whether that’s a gas grill, patio heater, firepit, generator, or another propane-powered appliance.

Don’t have a tank to exchange? No problem. You can still pick up a Blue Rhino tank while you’re at the store. Just see a store employee to purchase a fresh tank. They will walk you to the display and you’ll be set with a ready-to-use Blue Rhino in minutes. It’s a great way to keep an extra tank on hand so you’re always ready when your current one runs out. Having an extra means less downtime and more time fueling your propane-powered appliances when you need them.
