About Pamela W.
Pamela was born in New York, but moved to Texas about 30 years ago. Her passion for grilling grew once she moved to Texas. She has competed in grilling competitions such as events held by Kroger and Nolan Ryan Beef, where she got 2nd place.
When she spends time in her backyard, she loves making meals using her gas grill and griddle, and keeping her patio warm using her gas patio heater.
Grilling Tips and Techniques for Beginners
- Organization is key.
- Cleaning up as you go helps keep the grilling process smooth.Example: As soon as you are done with a dish, and you do not plan to use it again, put it in the sink right away.
- Knowing how different cuts of meat react to heat is an essential when grilling.
Favorite Grilled Foods
Pamela’s favorite dish to grill is flank steak marinated in teriyaki sauce. It is the perfect item to add in salads, rice bowls, burritos, and tacos.
