Old South Burgers with Peach Compote

Directions:

1. Make the peach compote
   1. On the grill's side burner, heat large skillet over medium heat until hot.
   2. Add peaches and onion.
   3. Cook and stir until lightly browned about 5 minutes.
   4. Add beer, brown sugar and rosemary; bring to a boil.
   5. Cook until peaches and onion are soft and liquid is almost gone, 13 to 15 minutes; keep warm.
2. Lightly shape ground beef into four 1/2-inch patties.
3. Preheat grill to medium.
4. Place patties on cooking grid.
5. Grill, covered, 7 to 9 minutes until instant-read thermometer inserted horizontally into center registers 160°F, turning occasionally.
   Cook's Tip: Cooking times are for fresh or thoroughly thawed ground beef. Color is not a reliable indicator of ground beef doneness.
6. Evenly spread goat cheese on bottom half of each biscuit.
7. Remove the burgers from the grill.
8. Place on the bottom hamburger buns.
9. Evenly spoon peach compote over burgers.
10. Place hamburger bun top on the burger.
11. Serve and enjoy.
