Ingredients:
All-purpose Flour
Baking Soda
Salt
Unsalted Butter, melted
Brown Sugar, packed
White Sugar
Vanilla Extract
Egg, room temperature
Chocolate Chips
Additional Items:
• 2 Large Bowls
• Pizza Stone (use instead of the baking sheet and pie pan/cake pan)
• Metal Baking Sheet
• Metal Cake Pan (if you can’t grill indirectly)
• Spatula
• Plastic Wrap
• Wire Cooling Rack
Directions:
Sift the flour, baking soda and salt into a bowl.
In a large bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar and white sugar.
Add the vanilla and eggs, and mix until creamy.
Slowly add the dry mixture until everything is blended. Don't over mix.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Suggested: Seal dough tightly into plastic wrap and place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Preheat grill to 375°F.
Note: If you are using a pizza stone, place pizza stone on the grill before preheating.
Once preheated, set the grill up for indirect cooking.
Note: If you can’t grill indirectly: just prior to placing the baking sheet on the grill, place a cake pan upside down on the cooking grid and place the baking sheet on top of the metal cake pan.
If using a baking sheet:
Scoop the chilled cookie dough onto the baking sheet. Make sure to leave about 2 inches between scoops.
Place the baking sheet on the cake pan, close the lid and grill for 12-15 minutes.
TIP: In-between batches, make sure to you let the grill preheat back to 375°F.
If using a pizza stone:
Scoop the chilled cookie dough onto the pizza stone. Make sure to leave about 2 inches between scoops.
Close the lid and grill for 12-15 minutes.
Remove the cookies from the grill and place on a cooling rack.
Enjoy!
