Ingredients: 6 lg Baking Apples, Braeburn, Jonagold, Fuji or Honey Crisp; 1 cup Brown Sugar; 1 stick Unsalted Butter, softened; 1-1/2 tsp Cinnamon, ground; 3/4 cup Golden Raisins; 1/2 cup Pecans or Walnuts, roughly chopped; 1 cup Water; Additional Items:; Melon Baller; Grill Pan; Serve with Options:; Vanilla Ice Cream; Chocolate Syrup

Makes: 4 servings
Prep Time: 10 - 20 minutes
Cook Time: 40 - 70 minutes

Ingredients:

Baking Apples, Braeburn, Jonagold, Fuji or Honey Crisp
Brown Sugar
Unsalted Butter, softened
Cinnamon, ground
Golden Raisins
Pecans or Walnuts, roughly chopped
Water

Additional Items:

• Melon Baller
• Grill Pan

Serve with Options:

• Vanilla Ice Cream
• Chocolate Syrup

Directions:

Preheat grill to high indirect heat or at least 400℉ to 450℉.
Wash and core the apples with a melon baller.
Make sure to leave enough of the core at the base intact to prevent the filling from spilling out.
Combine the softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins and chopped pecans.
Fill each apple evenly with the mixture.
Fill a grill pan with the water. There should be enough so that the base of the apples are covered.
Carefully place the apples into the grill and close the oven with the lid, creating an oven.
Check the apples at 45 minutes. They are done once soft, but make sure not to cook too long they will turn mushy. If using extra large apples, they may take up to an hour total.
Serve the apples with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and top them with some chocolate syrup and roughly chopped toasted pecans.
