Refrigerated Pizza Dough
Mozzarella Sticks (cut into bite size pieces)
Egg wash (1 egg + water mixed)
Melted Butter
Grated Parmesan Cheese
Dried Parsley Flakes
Additional Items:
• Large Baking Sheet
• Parchment Paper
• Marinara (for serving)
Directions:
Preheat gas grill to 375°F.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut mozzarella sticks into 1 inch pieces and set aside.
Divide pizza dough into two pieces.
Stretch and roll each piece of dough into a long rectangle.
Cut dough into 2 inch squares (27 total).
Wrap a dough square around each piece of mozzarella, forming a tightly sealed ball.
Place balls seam-side down on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree (they should be touching).
Brush egg wash on dough balls.
Place baking sheet on the grill, indirect grilling, until golden, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Just before taking them off the grill, brush the melted butter mixture over top, again.
Remove from the grill and let cool and serve.
