1/4 C Sea salt
Sea salt, to taste
Fresh pepper, to taste

Large Stock Pot
Paper towels
Directions:
Fill large stock pot 3/4 full with water and add 1/4 c sea salt.
Place the stock pot on the grill’s side burner and bring the water to a boil.
Wash artichokes.
Trim stems to manageable lengths.
Peel the outer layer of stems and rub with 1/2 of a small lemon.
Once the water is boiling,
carefully
place the 1-1/2 cut lemons and artichokes into the water.
TIP: To help the artichokes stay submerged, place a couple layers of paper towels over the artichokes.
Boil for 20 - 30 minutes, until the heart is tender.
Once the heart is tender, drain and let cool.
Once cool, cut in half and remove the choke with a spoon.
Preheat grill to medium high.
Place artichokes on the grill until lightly charred, about 5 - 8 minutes.
Remove from heat, season with salt, pepper and additional lemon.
Serve.
