Grilled Banana Pudding

Directions:

1. Add sugar and water into the sauce pot. Stir Well.
2. Place on the grill's side burner, on medium heat.
3. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce syrup.
4. Preheat grill to medium-high.
5. Peel 3 bananas and set aside.
6. Place poundcake on the cutting board.
7. Trim off the edges on the poundcake to square the loaf.
8. Cut poundcake into four (4) 1/2-inch thick slices.
9. Cut the bananas to the length of the poundcake slices. Save the trimmings.
10. Trim the sides of the bananas so they are squared. Save the trimmings.
11. Slice the bananas in half lengthwise and set aside.
12. Spray a light mist of canola oil over the bananas and poundcake slices.
13. Place the bananas and poundcake slices on the cooking grids.
14. Grill for 1 - 2 minutes, then remove and place on a plate.
15. Once the syrup has reduced by half, remove from the heat and add the banana trimmings.
16. Steep the syrup and banana trimmings for 5 minutes.
17. Remove the bananas from the syrup.
18. Drizzle 1 tsp of the banana syrup over 2 grilled poundcake slices.
19. Place 2 vanilla wafers on the top of 2 grilled poundcake slices.
20. Drizzle 1 tsp of the banana syrup over 2 grilled poundcake slices.
21. Spread 2 tbsp of vanilla pudding over 2 grilled poundcake slices.
22. Place 2 slices of the grilled bananas on top of the vanilla pudding.
23. Spread 1 tbsp of the vanilla pudding on top of the bananas.
24. Place a slice of the grilled poundcake slices on top.
25. Repeat steps 18 - 22.
26. Top with 3 tbsp of vanilla pudding.
27. Top with 1/4 cup of fresh whipped cream.
28. Sprinkle with candied pecan.
29. Drizzle with caramel.
30. Serve and enjoy.
