Baguette (cut to patty size)
Water
Coconut Vinegar
Salt
Sugar
Red Bell Pepper (julienned)
Carrots (julienned)
Cucumber (julienned)
Ground Pork
Shallots (minced)
Garlic (minced)
Sugar
Fish Sauce
Salt
Black Pepper
Carrots (minced)
Wood Ear Mushrooms (minced)
Bean Threads ((Asian cellophane noodles) minced)
Bonito Flakes
Spring Onions (minced)
Cilantro (As needed, picked)

Additional Items:

• Large Bowl
• Small Saucepan

Directions:

For the Vietnamese Sausage Patties:

Combine all patty ingredients, form patties.
Place on the grill or grilled.
Cook through on a griddle or grill.

For the Pickled Vegetables:

Combine water, vinegar, salt, and sugar in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat, letting salt and sugar dissolve.
Pour over vegetables and reserve.
