Ingredients:
Tortillas
Frozen Hashbrowns
Ground Sausage
Eggs
Milk
Butter
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Shredded Cheese (buy a bag or shred your own), to taste
Toppings:
• Salsa (to serve)
Additional Items:
• Medium Bowl
Directions:
Preheat your griddle to medium-high.
Add 1 tbsp of butter. Add frozen hashbrowns. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Cook until hashbrowns are lightly golden on each side and softened, about 8-10 minutes.
Place ground sausage on the griddle.
Crumble and cook until sausage is fully cooked. Remove excess grease if necessary.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add 1 tbsp of butter. Pour the egg mixture onto the griddle surface.
Cook until done.
Combine hashbrowns, sausage, and scrambled eggs. Mix gently until all the ingredients are evenly distributed. Remove from heat.
Place a tortilla flat on a plate. Spoon a generous amount of the breakfast burrito mixture onto the center of the tortilla. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the mixture.
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and then roll it up tightly to create a burrito.
Adjust the griddle to medium-low heat.
Place the burrito on the griddle, sealed side down.
Cook for a few minutes until the tortilla becomes lightly browned and crispy, then flip.
Cook for another few minutes and remove from the griddle and place on a plate.
Cut in half and top with salsa.
Serve and enjoy.
