Ingredients:
1 C Olives, mixed whole olives (with pit)
1 T Rosemary, fresh and minced
1 T Thyme, fresh and minced
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 t Black Pepper
1 t Olive oil, if olives not already in oil
Extras:
Grilling Basket (such as Blue Rhino Mesh Basket with Stainless Steel Removable Handle)
or Aluminum foil (made into a pouch)
Directions:
Preheat grill to medium high heat.
In a large bowl, combine olives, rosemary, thyme, garlic and pepper. Coat evenly.
NOTE: Add olive oil to the bowl if the olives were not already packed in oil.
Place olives into the grilling basket.
Grill over medium high heat for 6-8 minutes. Make sure to move the olives around frequently to make sure they cook evenly.
Once the olives are slightly charred and softened, remove from the heat.
Remove and serve.
Reminder: these olives have pits in them and the pits could be a choking hazard. Make sure you or your guests are careful eating them.
